As part of the Walloon Recovery Plan, SPW Recherche has allocated over \u20ac18 million of funding to ULi\u00e8ge, UCLouvain and ULB to strengthen innovation in the space sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The SPATIAL Technology Platform of Excellence<\/strong> aims to pool equipment and scientific skills in space technologies within the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It supports research, innovation and the development of cutting-edge technological solutions, in collaboration with industrial players in the sector. <\/p>\n

La plateforme “Spatial” dans le plan de relance de la Wallonie (PRW)<\/h3>\n

La Belgique, et plus particuli\u00e8rement la Wallonie, est dot\u00e9e d’un tissu industriel fort et exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 articul\u00e9 sur des technologies spatiales strat\u00e9giques, tant pour les futurs lanceurs (\u00e9lectronique embarqu\u00e9e y inclus les cha\u00eenes de sauvegarde, vannes \u00e9lectriques r\u00e9gul\u00e9es cryog\u00e9niques, logiciels embarqu\u00e9s et simulateurs de vol, pi\u00e8ces structurelles des lanceurs, …) que pour le march\u00e9 des constellations de satellites.<\/p>\n

Le Gouvernement wallon entend d\u00e9velopper la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 du secteur spatial en Wallonie et une meilleure coordination des acteurs (administration, universit\u00e9s et centres de recherche) avec le secteur industriel pour soutenir les projets de recherche et pour structurer la force de proposition spatiale wallonne.<\/p>\n

La plateforme “Spatial” vise \u00e0 renforcer l\u2019excellence de la Wallonie dans le domaine, et en particulier dans le cadre des d\u00e9veloppements li\u00e9s au \u00ab Newspace \u00bb et plus sp\u00e9cifiquement aux \u00ab SmallSats \u00bb. La plateforme technologique d\u2019excellence \u00ab spatial \u00bb visera \u00e0 maintenir et amplifier l\u2019excellence de la Wallonie et \u00e0 la positionner au niveau international en mettant \u00e0 la disposition des chercheur\u00b7ses et partenaires industriels une plateforme structurante dot\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9quipements de pointe au sein des universit\u00e9s partenaires, pour permettre le d\u00e9veloppement et la qualification de composants, ou le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux outils d\u2019instrumentation, visant des partenariats forts entre le milieu de recherche universitaire et les industriels.
